For over a decade, I have worked on numerous large-scale technology enhanced learning projects investigating learning technology and educational trends and developments, and from this producing advice on technological innovation in teaching and learning in higher education. I believe that if implemented thoughtfully informed by research and experience, open, online and blended learning offer great opportunities for developing new pedagogical approaches and business models in universities globally.

Online Learning and Pedagogy
For 20 years, I have worked on technology enhanced learning projects that have included the first contributory website for schools back in the late 1990's and developing large scale online Undergraduate degree programmes. This work has included developing online learning technical solutions, curriculum design, and the development of academic staff. It is important that when developing new provision, both the pedagogical and business models must work together for sustainable approaches to be delivered.
